Rebecca Gill is a Korean American licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. She is also a Registered Addiction Specialist with expertise in issues related to alcohol and other drugs. Rebecca has more than ten years of counseling experience working with individuals, couples and families. Her area of expertise is working with co-occurring symptoms especially from mental illnesses caused by trauma and addiction.
Rebecca received her Masters Degree in Counseling Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary and completed training and internship at a community counseling center where she gained expertise in different modalities of therapy. While working as a licensed therapist, Rebecca studied at Capella University and received her Ph.D. degree in Counseling Studies and completed training at a community mental health center working with patients with Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder with substance dependence.
Rebecca promotes education and raises awareness by teaching Counseling and Psychology courses at University of Phoenix and Walden University. She utilizes her knowledge to facilitate a learning environment for her professional students and assists in coping with academic stresses.
Rebecca has been happily married to a loving and supporting husband. She has a joyful family life and when she is not working, Rebecca spends time participating in community activities, exercising and reading.
